Pumpkinfest is a day long, annual event held on the farm providing fun for the whole family. Throughout the day there are games to play, prizes to be won, contests to participate in, such as our hot pepper eating contest, as well as our pumpkin catapult. A portion of the proceeds go towards helping others in our community through community charities.

Pumpkinfest 2018

Our seventeenth annual Pumpkinfest will be held on Saturday, October 13th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. With rain dates of Sunday, October 15, Saturday October 20, and Sunday October 21. Pumpkinfest is a day long event filled with fall family fun in support of the R.E.A.L Program and Mount Pearl Sport Alliance. Since 2001 we have donated over $200,000 and have helped over 1000 families with your help!

For up-to-the-minute Pumpkinfest news, join our event on Facebook.

We hope to see you there! We know you'll have a GOURD time!

This year, proceeds will be going to the R.E.A.L. Program and the Mount Pearl Sports Alliance.

Tickets for Pumpkinfest cost $5/person. Family passes will be available for purchase in our market, 173 Brookfield Road or click HERE to purchase online. They cost $20 and cover the admission fee for five people. Purchasing a family pass in advance will help you avoid entrance lineups meaning less waiting and more having fun!

Getting Here

While we do have parking available at our market at 173 Brookfield Road, the absolute best way to get to Pumpkinfest is by using the free Park N' Ride provided by Metrobus. Metrobus will be shuttling people from the NL Housing building at the corner of Columbus and Canada Drive to Pumpkinfest. The busses will run frequently with the first bus leaving the NL Housing building at 10 a.m. and the last bus leaving our farm at 4 p.m. The buses will be accepting donations (monetary or used sports equipment), which will be donated to the R.E.A.L Program.

Schedule of Events

There will be lots of fun and games throughout the day including a gourd toss, seed spit, pumpkin bowl, craft corner, black maze, straw jump, photo booth, corn maze as well as face painting and wagon rides.

There will also be a number of contests taking place on the stage. Here's the contest schedule:

Anyone interested in taking part in the contests with a "*" must sign up at the table next to the stage. Registration for the Worm Diggin' and Pie Eating will open one hour before the contest is scheduled to start. Registration for the hot pepper contests will be open all day.
